Candace Parker announced her retirement from the WNBA on Sunday April 28th 2024. She leaves the game as one of the most prolific versatile players to step foot on a basketball court. The 2008 #1 overall pick accomplishments as a 3x WNBA Champion, 2x Finals MVP, and the only player in league history to win Rookie of the Year and League MVP in the same season. She also added 2020 Defensive POY to her resume a few years back. Her on court presence will truly be missed, but never forgotten.
