    White Sox struck first in the bottom on the third inning. Tommy Pham hits a double to left field, allowing Braden Shewmake score. Korey Lee singled on the line drive to center field in the bottom of the sixth inning, scoring Andrew Benintendi and giving the Sox a 2-0 lead. Korey Lee went 3-for-3 with an RBI. Starting pitcher Garett Crochet was dominant again on the mound, tossing 5.0 innings and striking out 6 batters. Jared Shuster went 2.0 innings and Jordan Leasure went 1.0 innings, each with 1 strikeout. Michael Kopech slammed the door, earning the save while striking out 2 Nationals.     After a loss in the first game, the White Sox evened the doubleheader with Erick Fedde on the mound for Game 2. Fedde went seven shutout innings with 6 strikeouts. Jordan Leasure and Michael Kopech came in for relief. In the bottom of the 3rd, Rafael Ortega reached first base on a bunt and stole second. Tommy Pham walked on a wild pitch ball four which advanced Ortega to third. Andrew Vaughn blasted a three-run home run to give the White Sox an early 3-0 lead. Tommy Pham ended the Nationals threat in the top of the 6th with a great sliding catch. He then led off the bottom of the sixth for the White Sox with a base hit to center. Nicky Lopez doubles on a sharp line drive to right fielder Will Brennan of the Guardians. Paul DeJong scores placing White Sox in the lead 1-0. Martín Maldonado singled on a ground ball to left fielder Estevan Florial of the Guardians. Nicky Lopez scores placing the White Sox 2-0.     Garrett Crochet got the start on the bump for the White Sox in tonight’s matchup against the Cleveland Guardians. Crochet proved strong in his 6.0 innings outing, striking out 11 batters, a new career high. The White Sox got on the board first in the bottom of the fifth inning. Following two singles from Korey Lee and Paul DeJong, Nicky Lopez reached second on a fielder’s choice. Lee and DeJong both scored and gave the White Sox a 2-0 lead. Tommy Pham tacked on another run with an RBI single to score Lopez, 3-0.
